John Sturrock is Vice President, Industry Analyst at X/Celerant, bringing over 25 years of management consulting experience across the United States, Canada, and Europe. His work spans strategy development, business planning, advanced analysis, and implementation, supporting executive teams in navigating complex operational and market challenges.

Throughout his career, John has advised organizations across a broad range of industries, including energy, chemicals, manufacturing, aerospace, food and beverage, fast-moving consumer goods, and the public sector. Prior to joining X/Celerant, he progressed from execution-focused roles to senior leadership positions at Advisian (WorleyParsons Group), MTG Ltd., and Celerant Consulting, developing a reputation for translating strategic insight into practical, results-driven solutions.

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, a Master of Science in Geophysics, and an MBA. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a Certified Agile Scrum Master. In addition to his professional work, John has also led pro bono (volunteer) consulting initiatives for local small businesses and has taught innovation courses to NASA engineers and scientists.
